Ally Campaign - Tri-Pride recognizes the importance of an Ally Campaign on campus, in order to encourage and uphold a safe and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, & staff. Our goal is to be a source of information and acceptance to all and any individual willing. Through educating individuals about LGBT issues, especially the importance of the formation and maintenance of allies, we hope to combat and eliminate the myths and fear that perpetuate a hostile environment for all individuals.
Our Ally presentations aim to increase awareness of LGBT issues by exposing students at Eastern to the diversity present on their campus. Our presentations consist of a panel of students and staff who work to dispel myths, raise awareness, and create change through personal statements, activities, and discussion.
